What To Expect
Visiting a new church can be intimidating: What should I wear? What kind of music do they play? What about my kids?
It's never easy to visit a new church for the first time so we want to be as helpful as we can to make your experience a great one.
When you arrive, you will be welcomed by one of our greeters. They will be happy to answer any questions you may have and give basic directions. If you have children that would like to attend Sunday School, our greeter will also be happy to escort you to our children’s areas. We have classes for all ages!
Our Sunday service consists of 2 parts: Sunday School and Worship. Sunday School begins at 11:00 AM and lasts about 60 minutes. While children and students are in session, adults take part in "Morning Manna", a time of prayer and practical Bible teaching in the main sanctuary. Then, after a short break, our Worship Service begins at 12:00 PM. Most people stick around for that service, and you're welcome to also! We have a live worship band that plays a variety of worship songs, from contemporary Christian to traditional hymns, and our pastor will preach the main Sunday message. This service is designed to provide an authentic worship experience to a diverse congregation and allow for the Holy Spirit to move.
With this in mind, our goal is to create a welcoming atmosphere that will help you focus on what’s important. We are genuinely happy that you've joined us! So, dress as formally or informally as you feel comfortable. We simply hope your experience at The Sanctuary is a memorable one.
